Business Hours
Settings โ Business Hours defines the days and times your workspace operates. This affects automations that have the Respect Business Hours option enabled.
How Business Hours Workโ
When an automation is configured to Respect Business Hours:
- The trigger fires only if the current server time falls within the configured business hours window.
- If the trigger fires outside business hours, it is skipped โ it does not queue for later.
This prevents leads from receiving automated emails at 2am or on weekends.
Configuring Business Hoursโ
- Go to Settings โ Business Hours.
- For each day of the week, toggle whether it is a working day.
- For each active day, set the Start Time and End Time.
- Click Save.
Example configuration:
| Day | Active | Start | End |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monday | Yes | 09:00 | 18:00 |
| Tuesday | Yes | 09:00 | 18:00 |
| Wednesday | Yes | 09:00 | 18:00 |
| Thursday | Yes | 09:00 | 18:00 |
| Friday | Yes | 09:00 | 17:00 |

Timezoneโ
Business hours are evaluated in the workspace timezone configured in Settings โ General. Make sure your timezone is correctly set before configuring business hours.
Enabling "Respect Business Hours" on an Automationโ
When creating or editing an automation, toggle Respect Business Hours on the automation form.
Only automations with this toggle enabled will use the business hours window. All other automations fire regardless of the time.
Use Casesโ
- Follow-up emails: Only send follow-ups during working hours so leads receive them when your team is available.
- Assignment notifications: Notify team members only during their work hours.
- SMS: Never send SMS to leads outside business hours.
