HR Helpdesk

Staff can submit HR-related tickets; HR staff can manage and update status.

Path: Admin โ†’ HRM โ†’ HR Helpdesk URL: admin/hrm/helpdesk Permission: All staff can submit; HR Edit can view and update status


Overviewโ€‹

The HR Helpdesk allows:

  • Staff โ€“ Submit tickets for HR questions (policy, benefits, leave, etc.)
  • HR โ€“ View tickets and update status (Open, In Progress, Closed)

User Flowโ€‹

1. Submit a Ticket (Staff)โ€‹

  1. Go to HRM โ†’ HR Helpdesk
  2. Click Submit Ticket button
  3. Fill in:
    • Title (required)
    • Category (e.g. Policy, Benefits, Leave)
    • Message (required)
  4. Click Submit

Ticket is created with status open.


2. View Ticket (HR with Edit Permission)โ€‹

  1. Click the eye icon next to a ticket
  2. Modal opens with:
    • Subject
    • Message (full content)
    • Status dropdown (Open, In Progress, Closed)
    • Update Status button
  3. Change status and click Update Status
