Layoff Management

Record staff layoffs and manage layoff checklists for offboarding.

Overviewโ€‹

The Layoff Management module allows you to:

  • Record staff layoffs with date and reason
  • Use a layoff checklist (configured in Settings) for offboarding steps
  • Generate layoff reports (via HR Reports)

User Flowโ€‹

1. Configure Layoff Checklistโ€‹

Path: Settings โ†’ HRM โ†’ Layoff Checklist URL: admin/hrm/setting?group=layoff_checklist

  1. Add checklist items (e.g. Return laptop, Exit interview, Hand over keys)
  2. Each item has name, description, sort order
  3. These items guide the offboarding process

2. Add Layoff Recordโ€‹

  1. Go to HRM โ†’ Layoff Management
  2. Click Add button
  3. Fill in:
    • Staff (required)
    • Layoff date
    • Reason (textarea)
  4. Click Submit

The Report Layoff Staff report (HR Reports) shows layoff data for analysis.
