Job Descriptions

Manage job description groups and link them to job positions.

Path: Admin โ†’ HRM โ†’ Job Descriptions URL: admin/hrm/job_descriptions Permission: HRM View (Edit for add/edit/delete)


Overviewโ€‹

The Job Descriptions module allows you to:

  • Create job description groups with duties and responsibilities
  • Link job positions (from Settings) to job description groups
  • Use job descriptions when creating contracts or defining roles

User Flowโ€‹

1. Create Job Description Groupโ€‹

  1. Go to HRM โ†’ Job Descriptions
  2. Click Add (or similar)
  3. Fill in:
    • Group name
    • Duties & responsibilities (text)
    • Job position (link to Settings โ†’ Job Position)
  4. Submit

2. Edit / Deleteโ€‹

  • Click Edit to update a job description
  • Click Delete to remove (ensure no staff/contracts reference it)

Integrationโ€‹

  • Settings โ†’ Job Position โ€“ Job positions can be linked to job description groups
  • Contracts โ€“ Contract templates may reference job descriptions
  • Staff profile โ€“ Job position is shown; full description can be viewed from job descriptions

Organizational Chartโ€‹

URL: admin/hrm/organizational_chart

The organizational chart visualizes the company structure (departments, staff, reporting lines). Job descriptions complement this by defining role expectations.
