Training

Track staff training records, certificates, and completed courses.

Path: Admin โ†’ HRM โ†’ Training URL: admin/hrm/training Permission: HRM View (Edit for add/delete)


Overviewโ€‹

The Training module allows you to:

  • Record training completed by staff
  • Use training types (configured in Settings)
  • Store certificate numbers and completion dates
  • Add training from the staff member profile (My Trainings tab)

User Flowโ€‹

1. Configure Training Typesโ€‹

Path: Settings โ†’ HRM โ†’ Training Types URL: admin/hrm/setting?group=training_types

  1. Add training types (e.g. Safety, Compliance, Technical, Leadership)
  2. Each type has name and description
  3. These appear when adding a training record

2. Add Training (from Training Page)โ€‹

Path: HRM โ†’ Training URL: admin/hrm/training

  1. Click Add Training (or similar)
  2. Select staff
  3. Select training type
  4. Enter completed date
  5. Enter certificate number (optional)
  6. Submit

3. Add Training (from Member Profile)โ€‹

Path: Staff profile โ†’ My Trainings tab

  1. Open a staff member's profile
  2. Go to My Trainings tab
  3. Click Add Training button
  4. Modal opens with training form
  5. Select training type, completed date, certificate number
  6. Submit

Training Listโ€‹

The training view shows staff training records with:

  • Training type
  • Completed date
  • Certificate number
  • Delete option (for HR with edit permission)

Staff Member Profile: My Trainings Tabโ€‹

Each staff member has a My Trainings tab showing:

  • Table of their training records
  • Training type, completed date, certificate number
  • Add Training button (opens modal for HR with edit permission)
  • Delete button per record (for HR)
