Learning Paths

Manage learning courses and enroll staff in professional development programs.

Path: Admin โ†’ HRM โ†’ Learning Paths URL: admin/hrm/learning Permission: HRM View (Edit for add/edit/delete/enroll)


Overviewโ€‹

The Learning Paths module allows you to:

  • Create courses with name, category, duration, description
  • Enroll staff in courses
  • Track enrollment status (enrolled, completed)
  • View enrolled courses in the My Courses tab of staff profiles

User Flowโ€‹

1. Add a Courseโ€‹

  1. Go to HRM โ†’ Learning Paths
  2. Click Add Course button
  3. Fill in:
    • Name (required)
    • Category (e.g. Technical, Soft Skills)
    • Duration (hours)
    • Description
  4. Click Submit

2. Edit a Courseโ€‹

  1. Click the pencil icon next to a course
  2. Modal opens with pre-filled data
  3. Update fields and Submit

3. Delete a Courseโ€‹

  1. Click the delete (trash) icon next to a course
  2. Confirm deletion
  3. Course is removed (enrollments may be affected)

4. Enroll Staff in a Courseโ€‹

  1. Click Enroll Staff button
  2. Select staff from dropdown
  3. Select course from dropdown
  4. Click Submit

The staff member is now enrolled and the course appears in their My Courses tab.

Each staff member has a My Courses tab showing:

  • Course name
  • Status (enrolled / completed)
  • Completed date (if completed)
