Installation
This guide walks you through installing the Account Planning module in Perfex CRM. No technical experience is required-just follow the steps in order.
Before You Beginโ
Make sure you have:
- Perfex CRM installed and working (version 2.3 or higher)
- Admin access to your Perfex CRM
- The module ZIP file from your CodeCanyon purchase
- Your purchase code (you will need it for activation)
Step 1: Download the Moduleโ
- Log in to your CodeCanyon account.
- Go to Downloads and find the Account Planning Module for Perfex CRM.
- Download the ZIP file (do not unzip it).
Step 2: Upload the Module in Perfexโ
- Log in to your Perfex CRM as an administrator.
- Go to Setup (gear icon) โ Modules.
- Find the Upload Module section.
- Click Choose File and select the downloaded ZIP file.
- Click Upload.
Step 3: Verify the Uploadโ
After the upload completes:
- The module should appear in the Modules list.
- Its status will show as Inactive until you activate it.
- The module name will be Account Planning.
If you see an error message, check that:
- The ZIP file was not corrupted during download
- Your Perfex CRM version is 2.3 or higher
- You have write permissions on the server
Step 4: Activate the Moduleโ
Before you can use the module, you must activate it with your purchase code. See Activation for detailed steps.
What Happens During Installation?โ
When you upload and activate the module, it will:
- Create the necessary database tables for account plans
- Add the Account Planning menu item to the sidebar
- Create default settings (e.g., reminder days, client portal)
- Register permissions for staff
