Audit Log
The Audit Log is a complete, tamper-evident chronological record of every action performed by team members in your workspace.
Opening the Audit Logโ
Go to Reports โ Audit Log in the sidebar.
What Is Loggedโ
The audit log records:
| Category | Examples |

| Lead changes | Created, updated, deleted, stage changed, assigned |
| User actions | Login, logout, password changed |
| Settings changes | SMTP updated, branding changed, plan changed |
| Automation events | Automation created, run triggered, run failed |
| Form events | Form created, form submitted |
| Team changes | User invited, user role changed, user removed |
| API access | API key created, revoked |
Log Entry Detailsโ
Each entry shows:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Timestamp | When the action occurred |
| Actor | Which user performed the action (or "System" for automated events) |
| Action | What was done (e.g. "Lead Updated") |
| Resource | The object affected (e.g. lead name, setting name) |
| IP Address | The IP address of the actor |
| Changes | Before/after values for updated fields |
Filtering the Audit Logโ
Filter by:
- Actor โ a specific team member
- Action Type โ a category of actions
- Date Range โ a specific time period
- Resource โ search for a specific lead or record
Exporting the Audit Logโ
Click Export to download the filtered audit log as a CSV file for compliance purposes.
Retentionโ
Audit log entries are retained indefinitely (or until the workspace is deleted). For high-volume workspaces, consider exporting logs periodically for offline storage.
Use Casesโ
- Compliance: Demonstrate to clients or auditors what changes were made and by whom
- Debugging: Track down why a lead's data changed unexpectedly
- Security: Review unusual login activity or bulk deletions
- Accountability: See which team member took a specific action
