Call Log

The Call Log is a centralized record of all phone call interactions logged against leads in your workspace.


Opening the Call Logโ€‹

Go to Communications โ†’ Call Log in the sidebar.


Call Log Listโ€‹

Each entry shows:

ColumnDescription
LeadThe lead this call was logged for
DirectionInbound (lead called you) or Outbound (you called the lead)
DurationLength of the call (minutes/seconds)
NotesSummary of the call outcome
Logged ByWhich team member logged the call
DateWhen the call occurred

Filteringโ€‹

Filter the call log by:

  • Lead โ€” search for a specific lead
  • Direction โ€” Inbound or Outbound
  • Date Range โ€” calls within a specific period
  • Logged By โ€” a specific team member

Logging a Callโ€‹

From the lead detail view:

  1. Open a lead record.
  2. Go to the Activity tab.
  3. Click Log Call.
  4. Fill in:
    • Direction โ€” Inbound or Outbound
    • Duration โ€” in minutes and seconds
    • Notes โ€” what was discussed, outcome, next steps
  5. Click Save.

The call appears on the lead's activity timeline and in the global call log.

From the call log page:

  1. Click New Call Log (top right).
  2. Search for and select the lead.
  3. Fill in direction, duration, and notes.
  4. Click Save.

Editing or Deleting a Callโ€‹

Click the edit or delete icon on any call log entry. Editing allows you to correct the notes or duration.


Using Call Log Dataโ€‹

  • Call history appears in the lead activity timeline for full context
  • The Reports โ†’ Response Time report uses call log data to measure response performance
  • Filter the call log to review your team's call activity for a date range
