Products

The Products catalog stores the items and services you sell. Products are referenced as line items when creating quotes and invoices.


Creating a Productโ€‹

  1. Go to Sales โ†’ Products.
  2. Click New Product.
  3. Fill in:

SKUOptional stock-keeping unit / product code
DescriptionBrief description of the product

CurrencyCurrency for this product (e.g. USD, EUR)
ActiveToggle to show/hide from the quote/invoice product picker
  1. Click Save.

Editing a Productโ€‹

  1. Go to Sales โ†’ Products.
  2. Click the edit icon on the product row.
  3. Update fields and save.

Editing a product does not retroactively update quotes or invoices that already include it. Prices are stored at the time of quote creation.


Deactivating a Productโ€‹

Toggle Active off on the product to hide it from the product picker in new quotes and invoices. Existing documents with that product are unaffected.


Deleting a Productโ€‹

Click the delete icon and confirm.

โš ๏ธ Do not delete products that are already used in quotes or invoices โ€” this will break those records. Deactivate them instead.


Product Catalog Best Practicesโ€‹

  • Keep product names clear and consistent (e.g. "Monthly Retainer โ€” Basic", "Monthly Retainer โ€” Pro")
  • Use SKUs if you integrate with an external accounting system
  • Set prices in your workspace currency (defined in Settings โ†’ General)
  • Deactivate discontinued products rather than deleting them
