Activation
After installing PDF Customizer, you must activate the module with your license key to unlock its full template design and customization capabilities.
Activation Stepsโ
Follow these steps to activate PDF Customizer:
- Log in to your Perfex CRM as an administrator.
- Navigate to Setup โ Modules in the admin sidebar.
- Locate PDF Customizer in the modules list.
- Click the Activate button next to the module name.
- Enter your license key (purchase code) in the activation dialog.
- Press the Activate button to complete the process.
Your license key (purchase code) can be found in your purchase confirmation email or in your account's downloads section on the marketplace where you purchased the module.
License Managementโ
Understanding how your license works will help you manage it effectively:

| Activate | Enter your license key on a Perfex CRM installation to unlock the module |
| Transfer | Move your license to a different installation (requires flush first) |
| Flush | Reset the license binding so it can be used on a new installation |
If moving to a new installation, remove the module files from the old installation first. Then use the Licensing Flush tool (found on the New Ticket Creation page on the support portal) to reset the license. After flushing, activate the module on your new instance.
Troubleshooting Activation Issuesโ
If you encounter problems during activation, review the following common issues:

| Invalid license key | Double-check that you are entering the correct purchase code with no extra spaces |
| License already in use | The license is active on another installation โ flush it first using the Licensing Flush tool |
| Connection error | Ensure your server can make outbound HTTPS requests to verify the license |
| Activation button not visible | Confirm the module is properly installed and you are logged in as an administrator |
Each license key is valid for one active installation at a time. If you need to run the module on multiple installations, you will need to purchase additional licenses.
