Complete asset management for Perfex CRM: track allocations, check-in/out, maintenance, depreciation, reservations, webhooks, and more.

- Cron job - For automated notifications (warranty expiry, maintenance due, overdue checkouts)
- cURL - For webhook delivery
- GD/ImageMagick - For QR code and barcode generation
Pre-Installation Checklistโ
- Ensure Perfex CRM is installed and up to date
- Verify your PHP version:
php -v - Confirm MySQL is running and accessible
- Have your Envato license key ready for activation
Installation & Activationโ
1. Download the Moduleโ
- Go to CodeCanyon Downloads
- Download the Assets Management Module zip file
- Save your Envato License Key - you'll need it for activation
2. Upload the Moduleโ
- Log in to your Perfex CRM admin panel
- Go to Setup โ Modules
- Click Upload Module or Add New Module
- Select the downloaded zip file
- Click Upload
- If prompted, click Refresh to see the new module
3. Enable the Moduleโ
- Find Assets Management in the modules list
- Click Enable or Activate
- If a migration screen appears, click Run Migrations to apply database updates
4. Enter License Keyโ
- You'll be redirected to the module activation page
- Enter your Envato License Key (from your CodeCanyon download)
- Click Activate
- Wait for verification - you should see a success message
5. You're Done!โ
The Assets menu will appear in your sidebar. You can now:
- Go to Assets โ Settings to configure groups, units, and locations
- Go to Assets โ Assets to create your first asset
- Go to Assets โ Dashboard for an overview
Troubleshootingโ
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| Module doesn't appear after upload | Refresh the page; check file permissions |
| Activation fails | Verify license key; ensure no typos |
| Migrations required | Always run migrations when prompted |
| "Module failed verification" | Contact support with your purchase code |
Important Notes
- One license per domain - Each Perfex installation needs its own license
- Keep Perfex updated - Module requires Perfex 2.3.* or higher
- Backup first - Always backup your database before major updates
