Facebook Pixel for Perfex CRM

Add Facebook (Meta) Pixel tracking code to your Perfex CRM admin and/or customer areas.

Overviewโ€‹

The Facebook Pixel module allows you to embed Meta Pixel tracking code into your Perfex CRM installation. Meta Pixel is a snippet of JavaScript that collects data to help you track conversions, optimize ads, build targeted audiences, and remarket to people who have already interacted with your CRM portal.

With this module, you can add Pixel tracking to:

  • The Admin area โ€” track internal staff activity and usage patterns
  • The Customer area โ€” track customer portal interactions, invoice views, and conversions

You can use different Pixel codes for the admin and customer areas, or apply the same Pixel to both. The module gives you full flexibility over where tracking is active.

Requirementsโ€‹

Before installing the module, ensure you have:

  • An active Perfex CRM installation
  • A Meta (Facebook) Business account with a Pixel created
  • Access to the Perfex CRM admin panel for module installation

Installation & Activationโ€‹

Follow these steps to install the Facebook Pixel module:

  1. Extract your download and locate upload.zip.
  2. In Perfex CRM, go to Setup โ†’ Modules.
  3. Upload upload.zip and press Install.
  4. Click Activate in the module options.

After activation, the module does not inject any code until you configure it. Proceed to the Configuration guide to paste your Pixel code and enable tracking.

How to Get Your Meta Pixel Codeโ€‹

If you do not yet have a Meta Pixel, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Meta Events Manager.
  2. Click Connect Data Sources and select Web.
  3. Choose Meta Pixel and click Connect.
  4. Name your Pixel and click Create Pixel.
  5. Copy the Pixel base code provided by Meta.

Make sure you copy the full Pixel code snippet including the <script> tags. You will paste this into the module settings in the next step.
