Configuration
After activating Custom Data Tables, you can configure exactly how your CRM table views display data. Navigate to the module Settings to access all configuration options.
Accessing Configurationโ
- Log in to your Perfex CRM as an administrator.
- Navigate to the module Settings from the admin sidebar or the modules page.
- You will see the configuration interface where you can customize your data tables.
Customizing Columnsโ
Custom Data Tables allows you to control which columns appear in your CRM table views:

| Add Columns | Select additional columns to display in a table view, including custom fields |
| Remove Columns | Hide columns that are not relevant to your workflow |
| Reorder Columns | Drag and arrange columns in the order that works best for your team |
Focus on displaying only the most important columns for each table view. Fewer, more relevant columns improve readability and help your team find information faster.
Integrating Custom Fieldsโ
One of the most powerful features of Custom Data Tables is the ability to display Perfex CRM custom fields directly in table views:
- Open the configuration for the desired table view.
- Browse the list of available custom fields.
- Select the custom fields you want to add as table columns.
- Arrange the custom field columns in your preferred order.
Custom fields must already be created in Perfex CRM before they can be added to table views through this module. Create custom fields in Setup โ Custom Fields first.
Saving and Applying Changesโ
After making your desired changes to column selections and ordering:
- Review the configuration to ensure the correct columns are selected.
- Save your changes.
- Navigate to the relevant table view to verify the updated layout.
Column configuration changes are applied immediately after saving. All users who access the affected table views will see the updated column layout.

- Start simple โ Begin with a few additional columns and add more as needed
- Group related columns โ Place related fields next to each other for easier data comparison
- Review periodically โ As your workflow evolves, revisit your table configurations to keep them relevant
