Skrill Payment Gateway

Accept payments in Perfex CRM through Skrill (formerly Moneybookers).

Overviewโ€‹

Skrill is a widely used digital payment platform that enables businesses to accept online payments from customers around the world. Formerly known as Moneybookers, Skrill supports multiple currencies and payment methods, making it an excellent choice for businesses with an international customer base.

This module integrates Skrill's payment gateway directly into Perfex CRM, allowing your customers to pay invoices securely through the Skrill checkout experience.

Requirementsโ€‹

Before installing the module, ensure your environment meets the following requirements:

RequirementDetails
Perfex CRMA valid and up-to-date Perfex CRM installation
Skrill AccountAn active Skrill merchant account
PHP VersionAs required by your Perfex CRM version
SSL CertificateRecommended for secure payment processing

info

If you do not yet have a Skrill merchant account, you can register at skrill.com.

Installationโ€‹

The Skrill module files should be extracted directly to the root directory of your Perfex CRM installation. This differs from modules that are uploaded through the Perfex CRM module uploader.

Follow these steps carefully:

  1. Download the module package from your order and extract the archive.
  2. Inside the extracted folder, locate the upload.zip file.
  3. Extract all contents of upload.zip directly into the root directory of your Perfex CRM installation, merging with the existing folder structure.
  4. Log in to your Perfex CRM admin panel and navigate to Setup โ†’ Modules.
  5. Locate the Skrill module in the list and press Activate.
  6. After activation, navigate to the module Settings to configure your Skrill credentials.
warning

Make sure you extract the files into the root directory of your Perfex CRM installation โ€” not into the /modules/ directory. The archive is structured to merge with the existing Perfex CRM file structure.

tip

If you are unsure about the root directory, it is the folder that contains files such as index.php, composer.json, and the application/ directory.

Next Stepsโ€‹

Once the module is installed and activated, proceed with the following:

  • Test Mode Setup โ€” Configure sandbox credentials and test the integration before going live.
  • Live Mode โ€” Enter your production credentials and start accepting real payments.
