Activation

After installing PerfShield, you must activate the module with your license key before any security features become available. Activation verifies your purchase and unlocks the full functionality of the module.

Activation Stepsโ€‹

Follow these steps to activate PerfShield:

  1. Log in to your Perfex CRM as an administrator.
  2. Navigate to Setup โ†’ Modules in the admin sidebar.
  3. Locate PerfShield in the modules list.
  4. Click the Activate button next to the module name.
  5. Enter your license key (purchase code) in the activation dialog.
  6. Press the Activate button to complete the process.
tip

Your license key (purchase code) can be found in your purchase confirmation email or in your account's downloads section on the marketplace where you purchased the module.

License Managementโ€‹

Understanding how your license works will help you manage it effectively:

License Transfer

If you need to use the license on a new installation, you must first remove the module files from the current installation. Then use the Licensing Flush tool (found on the New Ticket Creation page on the support portal) to reset the license via the Envato API. After flushing, you can activate the module on your new installation.

Troubleshooting Activation Issuesโ€‹

If you encounter problems during activation, review the following common issues:

Each license key is valid for one active installation at a time. If you need to run the module on multiple installations, you will need to purchase additional licenses.
